We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Callum Douglas as Head of Gidea Park College from April 2021.
Mr Douglas joins us from a previous headship role at St Margaret’s Preparatory School in Essex.
Having started his teaching career in 1999, Mr Douglas has over 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles in preparatory schools.
Well versed in the secondary schools in Essex, Mr Douglas comes to Gidea Park School with a wealth of experience in getting students into the schools our parents are looking to send their children. He has a good personal link with the schools and knows all the key people in the Admissions Departments.
Mr Douglas was a pupil at Reading Blue Coat Independent School before going on to University of Durham to study History. He continued his education after graduation at the University of York where he obtained a PGCSE in History.
He is passionate about the pursuit of high academic standards and inspirational teaching and learning; these are core values of the Inspired Learning Group.
