New renovation revealed at St Francis’ College.
At the Inspired Learning Group, we are committed to reinvesting in and developing our schools. In May 2022 ILG acquired St Francis’ College, Letchworth, a girl’s school for 3 – 18 years. Upon St Francis’ joining the group key areas of development were identified and over the summer exciting renovations have taken place in the Sixth Form Centre.
Unveiled this week, the brand-new space features a variety of exciting, repurposed rooms. This includes state-of-the-art learning spaces which are geared towards both quiet and collaborative study, and spaces for socialising including a renovated common room and café. Furniture and lighting have been carefully considered to enhance the spaces.
The underlying aim of this project was to cultivate a professional learning environment to meet the high academic expectations of St. Francis College’s Sixth Form students. Themes inspiring the space include nature and education, as well as supporting neurodiversity.
We are thrilled with the results of the Sixth Form refurbishment and are delighted with the positive feedback from staff, parents, and pupils. Stay tuned for more exciting developments as we continue to invest in our schools across the group.
