We are currently looking for passionate Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly team of staff at Walton Montessori. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your career in childcare in a highly experienced and engaging team.

Our nursery has a wonderful family feel and would provide you with an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team and work with some truly outstanding staff and children. We are looking to appoint additional Early Years Practitioners due to strong growth for places from local families as our reputation for excellent childcare spreads across Walton.

Located in Walton-on-Thames, Walton Montessori is easily accessible via road or public transport we are based on the High Street and is a short walk away from Walton-on-Thames train station. This Early Years role will offer you the opportunity to join a passionate team of staff in providing excellent childcare.

Our experienced team create a warm and inviting atmosphere which helps children and staff to settle quickly. We take care to get to know each child, bond with them and identify their strengths and areas that need support to help them progress.

We have incorporated both the Montessori and EYFS philosophies and devised a formula that allows our children to develop and often exceed expectation, whilst enabling them to be ‘School Ready’ when their time comes to move onto formal education.

Ideally, you will have an NVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education, Early Years Care and Education, or similar qualifications such as NNEB certificate and Diploma.  You will also need knowledge of appropriate First Aid, such as a Paediatric first aid qualification. Practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities is also essential, monitoring progress and planning educational games and activities which will keep the children engaged throughout the day would be welcome.
