We seek to appoint from September 2022 a dynamic and enthusiastic part time Teacher of Design Technology.

Saint Felix School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for children aged from 2 – 19, located close to the glorious seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk coast. Our aim is to develop well-rounded students with the skills and the personality to make a success of their lives during and after their school years.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher of Design Technology to join us at Saint Felix. This Part time teaching position would be suitable for experienced teachers or those at the start of their career.

We are looking for a Design Technology teacher who can support the Art and Design Department in the delivery of curricular Design Technology lessons across Key stage 3, 4 and 5. You will ideally have ability or potential to teach GCSE and A Level DT.

The DT department is based in well equipped classrooms where a wide range or machinery is available enabling lessons to be creative. A specialism in resistant materials would be desirable but is not essential.

Teaching staff at Saint Felix actively participate in and make a significant contribution to the wider school life throughout the year.
