This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher of Modern foreign languages (MFL) to join us at Saint Felix School. This Part time maternity cover teaching position would be suitable for experienced teacher or a teacher at the start of their career. Working Monday to Thursday to role is 4 days a week.
We are looking for an MFL Teacher who is able to deliver outstanding and engaging lessons to pupils in KS3, 4 and 5. Languages are popular at Saint Felix, the ability to offer Spanish and French would be desirable.
The MFL department are a vibrant, forward thinking department including native speakers. We have high expectations and provide suitable challenges. Learning takes place in an environment of mutual respect between teachers and learners. We also aim to give pupils the confidence to make appropriate use of ICT facilities to support their learning. Specialist online Language resources are used to consolidate and develop pupils’ learning.
Teaching staff at Saint Felix actively participate in and make a significant contribution to the wider school life throughout the year.
