Congratulations to the Class of 2024!

Schools across the Inspired Learning Group (ILG) are celebrating remarkable A-Level results this year, with students achieving exceptional academic success and securing places at prestigious universities, including several within the Russell Group. The results are a testament to the dedication and perseverance of students and the unwavering support from their schools.

At Saint Felix School, Southwold, students have achieved a strong set of A-Level results, with many now set to embark on studies at top universities or begin apprenticeships in their chosen industries. Mr. Matthew Oakman, Head of Saint Felix, praised the students for their hard work and growth over the past two years, emphasizing that success at Saint Felix is measured not only by grades but also by the personal development and values cultivated during their time at the school.

Derby Grammar School also saw its students excel, with half of all exams graded A* to B. The majority of students secured places at their first-choice universities, including Durham and Queen Mary University. Head Prefects, Matthew and Grace, along with other top achievers, are heading into diverse fields such as Politics, International Relations, Medicine, and Neuroscience. The school highlighted the influence of hands-on experiences and the strong science and humanities programs in shaping students’ futures.

Rookwood Sixth Form, Andover, continues its upward trajectory with another set of excellent A-Level results, despite being a relatively new addition to the school. Nearly half of the grades were between A to C, reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals. Students like Olivia, who will begin an Art Foundation course, and Dan, who is set to study Marine Geography at Cardiff University, exemplify the school’s focus on both academic achievement and personal growth.

Shebbear College, Devon, celebrated a 100% pass rate in both A-Level and BTEC results, with the majority of students gaining places at their first-choice universities. The Class of 2024 will be studying an impressive array of subjects, ranging from Mechanical Engineering to Liberal Arts, with some students choosing alternative paths such as joining the RAF or traveling through Southeast Asia.

Finally, St Francis’ College continued its tradition of academic excellence, with over 25% of all grades achieving A* and more than half at A*-A. Students are moving on to some of the country’s top universities, including the London School of Economics, Kings College London, and Exeter. The diverse range of courses they will pursue reflects the college’s broad academic strengths, from Politics & Economics to Medicine and Sport & Exercise Science.

Across the Inspired Learning Group, these results not only celebrate academic excellence but also highlight the diverse paths students are taking as they step into the next chapters of their lives. The group remains committed to providing an environment where students can thrive both academically and personally, preparing them for bright and promising futures.
