Buxlow Eco-Schools Accreditation
The Eco-Council at Buxlow Preparatory School has retained its Eco-Schools Accreditation for another year and has also been awarded the highest distinction grade for the first time!
The Eco-Council has worked throughout the year to implement new initiatives throughout the school, such as cracking down on recycling to reduce the amount of waste that is produced.
Well done to the Eco-Council, and Ms Stanton for their hard work to achieve their distinction.
Essendene Art Competition Win
The Willow Class at Essendene Lodge School recently came second place in the Independent Schools Association (ISA) Art Competition.
The children entered with their piece titled ‘A Kaleidoscope of Butterflies’, and placed against hundreds of other entries. Their work is now on display in their classroom.
Well done to the class for their amazing work!
St. Francis’ College Mock Election
Ahead of the UK General Election, the staff and senior pupils of St. Francis’ College participated in their school mock election.
The mock election was held by the World Studies Faculty and provided pupils with the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the current political landscape, as well as encouraging them to engage in debates and discussions.
Pupils were enthusiastic about the chance to vote and enjoyed learning about the voting process.
Saint Felix Duke of Edinburgh Award
13 pupils at Saint Felix School recently completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition.
The group worked hard over their two-day exhibition, utilising their skill in navigation and camp set-up. The pupils also showcased great qualities of leadership and teamwork, working together to complete their tasks efficiently.
Well done to all who took part and achieved the award!
Yateley Athletics Win
Congratulations to Year 8 pupil Michelle at Yateley Manor School for becoming the U14 Girls 100m National Champion!
Michelle recently competed at the National Prep School Athletics Competition and was up against runners from over 40 prep schools.
Well done to Michelle for her brilliant performance!
Sunninghill Examination Pass
Sunninghill Prep School pupils, Dexter and Daisy, have just passed their ABRSM Grade 5 Theory Piano Examination! At 10 years old, Daisy is the youngest pupil at Sunninghill to achieve this.
Both pupils have worked extremely hard to achieve these results and participated in Sunninghill’s special enrichment programme before their examinations.
Congratulations to the pupils on their impressive achievements!
Nursery Graduations
Our nurseries across the group have recently held graduation ceremonies for children who will be moving up to Reception in September.
These ceremonies have been a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the children’s time at each nursery, and have the classes come together for one last time.
We wish all of the children well in their journey ahead!
